Nestled in the vibrant heart of New York City's Meatpacking District, Teazzi Tea Shop offers an exquisite journey into the world of authentic Taiwanese bubble tea and specialty teas. More than just a bubble tea store, Teazzi is a refined tea house dedicated to elevating your tea experience with carefully curated, artisanal brews that celebrate traditional tea craftsmanship.
At Teazzi, every sip reveals layers of carefully aged tea leaves and innovative flair. Their menu showcases a thoughtfully diverse range of teas—from the aromatic Amber Oolong Tea with its medium roast warmth, to the richly smoky Deep Roast Oolong and the deeply comforting Dark Roast Black Tea. For those seeking lighter caffeine options, the Jasmine Green Tea and the delicately roasted Four Seasons Oolong Tea entice with floral and fresh hints. The specialty seasonal oolong offerings add an ever-changing surprise element, keeping loyal customers intrigued and delighted.
What truly sets Teazzi apart is their use of high-quality Australian oat milk in their oat milk tea lattes, imparting a creamy, smooth texture that beautifully complements the tea’s natural complexity. Drinks like the Four Seasons Oat Milk Tea Latte or the Deep Roast Oolong Oat Milk Latte feel indulgent yet balanced, the oat milk adding a lush richness without overpowering the tea’s essence.
For those who prefer fresh milk, the Taro Latte and Oats Latte crafted with lactose-free milk offer a comforting, velvety sweetness, highlighting fresh ingredients with every sip. The fixed sweetness ensures a perfectly harmonized flavor that never dulls the palate.
The ambiance of Teazzi Tea Shop complements its elevated menu. Customers describe the setting as modern and cool—an inviting space that feels fresh and contemporary, yet deeply rooted in authentic tea culture. It's a thoughtful destination for both casual bubble tea fans and discerning tea connoisseurs.
Customer testimonials powerfully reflect the shop’s appeal. Najeeb Abdullah praises the “modern and cool” vibe and the “refreshing” quality of drinks like the winter melon tea with crystal boba, highlighting the meticulous balance of light sweetness and ice-cold refreshment. C C calls Teazzi “definitely one of the best bubble tea shops in NYC,” admiring the high-quality oolong and four-season teas, especially the unique house special drink with oat milk and bubbles that creates an engaging texture contrast.
While the majority rave about the consistent quality—like Vicki, who found Teazzi to be an authentic Taiwanese bubble tea experience right in New York—there are candid insights about sweetness levels and flavor intensity. Namrata Naik points out the sweetness that can feel a bit high, though this is thoughtfully addressed by attentive staff who adjust sugar content on request, showing their commitment to personalized customer care. Ian Chou’s experience with the passion fruit orange blend underscores the team’s talent for balancing fruity and tea flavors, while also reminding us that even in great places, slight inconsistencies can happen.
Teazzi Tea Shop is more than a stop for bubble tea—it’s a destination that honors the art of tea with authenticity and innovation. Very modern and cool looking bubble tea spot. They have many different unique flavor options and different types of trea options other than the usual black and green tea. The service was great and the drinks were very refreshing. I tried the winter melon tea with crystal boba and it was exactly what I needed. Light, sweet, and iced.
Definitely one of the best bubble tea shop in NYC with good tea quality. Both of their oolong and four season is amazing. I usually get their house special and oolong mike tea with bubble. I really like the house special, it had oat and bubble inside. Add different texture to the drink.
Passion fruit orange ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: comes with 4 seasons tea and had a nice blend of fruity and tea flavor. Peach oolong ⭐⭐⭐: for some reason, this tasted super watered down even tho we got the same sweetness/ice level for both. Might have just got unlucky with the tea.
@teazziteashop.us is one of my go-to tea shops in Taiwan. It’s not very famous/popular and doesn’t have many locations in Taipei, but I happened to stumble upon it once because it’s close to my home, and really loved the tea selection that they offer. First time having it in the States, and the quality was pretty consistent! Definitely pinning to my list of authentic Taiwanese bubble tea store in NYC now!
Not too much into Boba tea but my first experience here was good. A bit expensive for sure but tasted really nice. I got the strawberry four seasons, and thank god the person making my tea gave me a heads up that the sugar in this one is very high so I can cut it down if I liked, to which I agreed and they said it was brought down by 20%. It still turned out to be extremely sugary but refreshing nonetheless. So may be that’s something to keep in mind and check with the staff.
I was recommended by a friend to try this boba shop because of their unique ingredients. It was quite different from all the boba shops that we have here in LA but overall still enjoyed the drink I tried. What seemed suspicious to me was the Oats Latte but it turned out to be a very good drink. By the time I took my Uber back to my hotel, I wanted to go back and get another one or two for my flight for the very next day. I'll definitely come back and get more next time I'm visiting.
I love that you can really customize drinks here—just tea and grass jelly? No sugar and a little bit of ice, no problem! They have options that aren’t available at other places, brew the teas in house instead of using mixes, and have some dairy alternative (and lactose free) milk options. The staff were friendly and helpful. You also have the option to order from a kiosk or a person :) It’s more of a grab and go place than a sit down and chill one, but that’s exactly what I needed. The four seasons oolong is flavorful and not over brewed. Definitely coming back.
They offer a great selection of teas. In the winter, I usually opt for the hot taro tea, and in the summer, I enjoy the iced mango green tea. One highlight is that they use real taro in their bubble teas, which adds an authentic touch. Overall good tea spot, strong 4 stars
